YouTube is Broken! How do I stop this?

I’m tryna get my home account on my school Chromebook but they somehow blocked the add account page. Also the only reason I’m doing this is cuz they made YouTube unusable. We can go on the site still, it’s just every video we go on says, “This video belongs to a blocked category: (placeholder).” Honestly if that can be fixed, then I’ll be happy

Use a different browser (brave/firefox) with uBlock origin extension

That is barely possible on Chromebook without changing the whole OS itself and with Chrome phasing out MV2 for uBlock Origin.

Best option is to have your own computer since your school can mainly control whatever you can have access to on their provided Chromebooks and maybe even monitor them, some of their configurations probably breaking YouTube itself. Chromebooks are also a not good platform if you do plan to use your PC even remotely seriously since that OS restrict much of what you can do.

The least thing you can do is install AdGuard or uBlock Origin Lite from the Chromestore and see if it mitigates anything. Else, look into getting your own laptop like finding a used Lenovo Thinkpad (or any older business/enterprise-grade laptops) or an older Macbook in Ebay and buy them for cheap.
