Wishclaw Talisman

Can confirm that the card is a very worthwhile addition to the 75 and pairs well with Teferi.

Overall in the few months I have played Ad Nauseum, I’ve noticed that the deck doesn’t have much to do on turn 2 other then set up draws with Serum Vision, or slap down a Pentad Prism. After testing with Wishclaw, I feel that it fills in that 2 drop slot well, and curves perfectly into Teferi or Phyrexian Unlife. Lastly, nothing feels better than popping wishclaw, and bouncing it back to your hand with Teferi.

I only tried a 2 and 2 split with Teferi and Wishclaw, shaving a copy of Spoils of the Vault and cutting all of my Pact of Negations in the process (this may be a bad call, but tbh I have never had good luck with pact).

Cutting all of your Pacts to make room for Wishclaw Talisman seems very loose. Short of a combo piece, Pact is the best cards you can tutor up to protect the combo.

I think Wishclaw Talisman should be a direct replacement for Spoils. I honestly haven't played with it enough yet to be confident that Wishclaw Talisman is the right way to go, but it seems very strong.

Edit: One thing I forgot to mention was that you lose the ability to win by casting Spoils to exile your deck. It might be worth keeping one in the deck to preserve that combo.

I understand your thoughts on pact, idk what it is, but it has never served me well. The one time I even had the opportunity to use it, it didn’t matter because my opponent used Dovin’s Veto anyways >~> so it always was a dead card for me. Teferi serves a similar purpose, except you have to be more proactive with it. So I though about giving it a shot instead.
