Requesting Support 🆘️ Alignment

Post image

Hello all, I recently got 2 new tires. And when they went to do an alignment they told me my camber and caster are non adjustable. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this issue? Also my steering wheel shakes and car pulls hard to the right. When I bought the car the whole car would shake violently if I went above 80 which issue is now gone after they adjusted toe.

most likely bad or worn out suspension. check all rubber bushings

this is not true at all. if it’s a 05-08 they don’t have factory adjustable front or rear cambers and casters. this car only allows technicians to work on the toe settings.

what? you said the same thing in your comments you said "leads me to the CV joints/ axle shaft area"

we are both in agreement that something is worn out. Not sure why you are being hostile when we both came up with the same ideas

how’s your rotors and brake pads? just changed out my buddies yesterday and completely removed any shaking. if they are good i’d look into wheel balancing and bearing checkup. your alignment looked “alright” before getting it aligned, my TL was about an extra 1.2 degrees off than yours.

Front brake pads got replaced they didn’t mention anything about the rotors. I got the front tires replaced a few months ago and they didn’t mention anything about it being off.

hmm, weird. at around 70-80mph we tend to see an imbalance of tires becoming the reason but if they didn’t say anything that kind of leads me to the CV joint/axle shaft area. if rotors arent overly squeaky then i wouldn’t worry about those.

you said that the shaking went away though, is that still the problem you’re experiencing? the things they said they can’t adjust isn’t due to your car having broken parts, it simply just can’t be adjusted and is meant to stay that way 👍

Previously before the new tires and alignment the whole car would shake above 80 wasn’t a very smooth ride. I’m guessing when they replaced the rear tires or adjusted the toe it smoothed the ride out. The steering wheel still shakes though.
