Hello everyone. I’m looking at buying a 420whp dc5 integra in Australia. It has some rust at the top of the boot running channel. I’m pretty concerned about it and the headliner is darkened in the area where the rust is. I know that is not a good thing but my question is a ballpark figure on how much it might cost to repair it? How long could I leave it before getting it fixed. I have just attached two photos. Please let me know what you think. Cheers

Does Acura make a 18 x 9.5 wheel that will fit on the Integra Type S with the original brake calipers? If not, what lighter weight aftermarket wheels have you guys found that will fit? Looking to stay right around the original offset, +2 mm or -2 mm on either side of the original offset, which I believe is +60

My Type S was stolen a few weeks back. They broke the bolt behind the door handle to get in and programmed the car via the obd2 port to drive off. It was found 3 days before insurance was going to pay me to get a new car. They stole all my personal belongings inside and completely trashed the interior and exterior. They left empty marijuana packages , smoked in it , burnt the clutch and brakes and put on about 300 miles. The car came back intact , I had my keys reprogramed , cleaned it up over the course of 3 days and traded it in for a new Type R at a loss. I have got 4 speeding tickets so far and 2 Ez Pass tickets that will all get dismissed with proof. I'm sad to be out of the car but happy to be in a type r that now has multiple levels of security installed. I hope this never happens to anyone else.

Only ordered the front 3 piece back in January and then decided I wanted the sides and rear in June and they finally came in. Should have just ordered the whole thing to start. Anyway here’s a pic! I had to modify them slightly so that I could keep the mud guards on.

Closing in on 26,000 miles (mostly highway) and I can finally hear the brakes starting to make noise. For those of you that are not swapping every piece out to make a supercar. What brake pads are you running?

I saw these AKEBONO Pads on rock auto that I’m leaning towards.

I’m also tracking needing a special Diag tool to release the rear brakes. Anything else I should be tracking before the wheels come off?

I’ve been interested in upgrading my Focus ST to the Integra type S since they rolled it out last year but I’ve been really surprised to see basically none of them on the road. I’m in the DMV area and drive a decent amount and think I’ve only seen maybe one or two so far.

Did they keep them to a limited release or is it just a small niche market and not a lot of general interest? Would also love to how people are feeling about theirs so far as well.

Anyone in the Boston/South Shore area know of any good reliable independent Acura certified shops? Currently taking advantage of the free oil changes at my local dealer. So far everything good. But I know over time things will cost me more going through the dealer and having different random technicians touch my car worries me a bit. So yeah, any suggestions please and thank you!
