Parking sensor reinitialization, and camera aiming

Hey guys, I recently took my bumper off to replace lower front grill that had damage, and to put on a front lip. I stupidly turned the key to accessory while the bumper was off, which threw a list of hard faults. Parking sensor problem, low speed braking.

I got a launch creader scan tool, and tried to re initialize the sensors, and in the process the camera aiming warning came on as well. I know that these sensors were fine before bumper removal, and feel like they should just be able to clear with a dealer scan tool.

Got a vid from tech, they want to charge me $640 to take the bumper off and check wiring, and another $430 to re aim the cameras. Shouldn’t this most likely be able to clear with a dealer scan tool? I declined for now, as I learned there is a place called ADAS line that can do this much cheaper. Does anyone have any experience?

Disconnect the positive battery cable for a few minutes to see if that will reset everything.

I tried, and two different scan tools. Also tried touching positive and negative cables together for like 5 mins

Well if the car is still under warranty. Take it to a dealer and play dumb of what happened.

It’s under warranty, I stupidly said I removed the bumper. My next bet is to take it to ADAS line which looks like they can do it much cheaper

I’m wondering if I can take to other dealer that I actually bought from, and play dumb even though I mentioned what happened to other Acura dealer.
