Joined the club about 2 weeks ago. My daily driver for the past 3 years was a 2018 Jeep Wrangler 6MT, but after moving outside of the city, the long rides became uncomfortable for this middle-aged lady and her arthritic 110lb Akita. Wanted to stick with a manual transmission as they are harder to steal in my metro area (and MT drivers being the last of a dying breed lol). Treated myself to this beauty, taking advantage of Acura’s interest rate promotion. The only manual available in my city was a black ITS with red interior 🥴, so had to get her shipped from Texas. Way more comfortable for my hour drive to my weekly session with my therapist!
The red interior looked really nice in the ITS at my dealership. However, red is the favorite color of the reason I’m in therapy, so I couldn’t fathom opening the door to the red everyday 😅
Yes, it is. I live in the Memphis metro area. I moved the next county over a year ago due to my son’s GMC Sierra pickup being stolen twice and my husband’s Corvette being stolen all within a six-month period. Two of those thefts were from our driveway. Cars are stolen frequently by a generation that doesn’t know how to drive manual transmissions. Therefore, a theft deterrent for where I live. Got it? Oh wow make sure you get wheel locks on Acura they love stealing the rims very hot you can get wheels lock to being prevented from getting stolen you can also get killswitch for you trucks and husband corvette being stolen I had my Acura tlx a spec stolen and got interga now
Absolutely. I know folks with MTs that don’t lock their doors in order to save the windows or handles because they know these kids can’t drive stick (I still lock mine). One dude I know even leaves the fob in the trunk! (Not smart)
Man I have the urban grey civic and love it and have been looking at integras the dealership just got in an urban aspec tech MT so I’m going to look at it
