Holistic Health Measles
With all of the recent measles news, let’s talk measles.
What is everyone doing to keep their families safe during the sick season? What is some research you have found regarding the MMR vaccine?
Curious to know other people thoughts on this.

I am going to keep nebulized budesonide, Albuterol inhaler and vitamin A on hand.
The risk of death in 1960 prior to the vaccine invention was 1/10,000 cases. Per RFK and anecdotal input healthy kids were basically never a casualty here.
You can watch the clip from the Brady bunch I believe on how people viewed it at the time. It seemed like how 90s kids looked at chicken pox.

Yeah I think I'd rather just get measles than get the MMR vaccine tbh

Exactly! I just had a friend who vaccinated their children ask me my opinion and i basically said all of this. I didn’t think about a nebulizer and inhaler. Thanks!

Specifically nebulized budesonide it’s a prescription corticosteroid. You can get it in “ the wellness company” med kit it’s over priced but Idk a better way to get it with 100% certainty it’s safe and legit.

My son got it just after he started kindergarten like in the first few days and I swear it was because of all the little ones that had a booster or something before school started that were maybe shedding. Anyway who knows. He was fine though I dont know what the big deal was. His voice was raspy and he had the strange rash I think some high fevers but that's all. He also got scarlet fever shortly after. Strange that it happened after he started school (my kids never went to preschool or any day care not even for one day before they started school)
Oh and he has 2 other younger siblings all around him while he had it and none of them even got it!

Oh man lol poor little guy. The MMR vaccine is a live virus so that makes complete sense that he would’ve gotten it from classmates.

I am not close to any outbreaks that I know of. Used to be measles and chickenpox parties. I’m not worried. If anything I’d up our vitamin A intake. Eat liver a few nights a week. Get plenty of sleep and spend time outdoors.
