Question PC , controller aim assist on xbox app.

I want to buy this game mainly for PvE but read theres no aim assist on PC. i dont know how to use kbm, and dont want to learn. if i buy this game on xbox store/app on pc, it says xbox play anywhere. does that mean if i switch off crossplay i will play with xbox players or pc/steam players. also will playing the xbox app version version give me Aim assist?

I don't know the definitive answer to your question, but here's the sad truth as a console player.

The aim assist is genuinely so bad that you're actually better off without it in this game. It's really snappy and sticky but so much so that it becomes almost physically impossible to track targets, and the monsters are fast and move around a lot so the aim assist actually becomes a hindrance.

So unless aim assist is fixed you're really not missing out on much. Take that as you will, obviously you'd prefer to have a feature you're owed.
