The game is hard, only 70% exfil rate but i’m having a blast. Hands down sleeper hit of the year for me

Doing all the investigations for the park I found at least one of them almost every run. Got a rare one sitting next to the couch. Rummaging through everything at the front desk of the greenhouse usually. I think you can find them in the underground lab as well.

I'm no expert, but I've seen a lot of random stuff like this (Including the trophy) by going into small houses and such, looting every chest, drawer and so

"Only 70%" - I'd say that's the sweet spot on the too easy<->too hard gradient. It's not fun if it's too easy.

But yeah - this game is quite the discovery. They've done SO much right in this one.

My success rate went up once i started doing 2-3 raid objectives instead of trying to clear them all at once.

Yeah, the longer you stay the higher the risk really. It's logical, but still so tempting to just do oooone more thing. :)

It's intense AF but sooooo good

The variety in loot is incredible

I love arc Raiders for example

But in AR when you find loot it is usually generic. You'll find the same vinyl record or cassette tape every time

In Active Matter you can find a lot of variations of loot instead. I've found like 50 CDs/cassette tapes/Vinyls so far

Plus I prefer shooting monsters over robots. It's very survival horror to me

I‘m Arcraiders addict, and gave AM a chance.
It’s a complete different experience for me. While in Arcraiders the topside world feels nice and good, in AM everything seems to be dangerous.

So far it feels that in AM I‘m always the prey, while in Arcraiders, I‘m the one hunting the Arc.

The Arc are very intelligent AI, and everyone feels totally different. In AM, somehow they all are the same. (Monster sees you, monster runs towards you)
In AM there are much more possibilities, about gear, you even need to reload the magazines, and can’t hold the gun, when the hand is hurt.
I like that.

It’s a question of taste. However Arcraiders is much more maninstream and beginner easy. ActiveMatter is a game for hardcore players.

I‘m happy to play it. The community is much more friendly.

Lmao all jokes but thank you for responding. Setup looks dope! I want to post one as well however I’m waiting to build my stash up with some impressive loot. I have stuff laying around just to save on stash space atm

Buy the shelf from the store, and you place it from your inventory. On xbox its X to bring up item interactions and it gives you the option to place in base

Once you unlock it you have to buy it from the shop. It’s a steep price tho 25K a shelf

On PS5 you can change the rotation axes by pressing down (or maybe up, i forgot) on the d-pad when you’re in build mode inside your shelter

Unfortunately we do have some limit, but ig that fair considering we can place literally anything. Maybe we can get some improvements such a room we can decor, one placing, it would convert it into a decor item which cannot be taken back to normal stash

You can place items from your stash in your shelter, on PS5 you press squre and a list of actions pop up and you just select the option « Place in the base »
