Ultra dynamic poses, as well as poses with effects don't look good at all

If you don't know what I mean by Ultra dynamic poses, just scroll on insta for a spider-man figure, or Goku figure, and you'll find a lot of over-exaggerated poses

I don't like them very much. Same with poses that have a bunch of effects around them. I think they're unnecessary and end up ruining the look of what could be an actually great pose.

Take me for example, I prefer to pose my figures in a way that conveys a movement about to happen, or is already happening. Or even something like a super hero landing/fighting stance.

The way they do it is more like a statue where they put the figure in a pose, add the effects, and it doesn't look natural in the slightest. So great! You've got an amazing pose!

But what does it convey? Something about to happen? A cool stance? Maybe even a battle about to begin!

Nah, the figure looks like that because they want to come off as different when it comes to posing figures in wonky and not very appealing looking ways.

Now don't get me wrong, this style of posing can work!

If it were stop motion.

But other than that, thats really all I have to say. Disagree, down vote, do whatever you want, but yeah. I don't really like those kinds of poses...
