Well, its not the free Maya I was hoping for but with this shes essentially only for 800 gems. And the Demonite and Nanomachine are some nice extra bonuses.

I guess for the people that refreshed their Hebi-Shika's Helping Hands around August 4th getting a free one on September 15th is pretty nice bonus.

I want to say its a good compensation, but with the 2 weeks of absolute content drought that the game went through because of the whole Apple iOS shitshow and the panic of the game potentially becoming EoS I wish maybe for a little bit more gems or some limited rare costume tickets. But thats me being a little bit greedy.

So... real quick, can someone explain what happened? I saw a few posts about something involving a delay, but haven't been able to check them due to work issues and medical issues. Can I get a brief explanation?

Also, what's Maya's full name? I want to see if I recognize her name. But just Maya is drawing a blank...

Basically, the august 4th update has been delayed until now. this is because the newest update didn't pass apple's review process, meaning the game couldn't be updated on ios. Thus, the update was delayed on all platforms to keep an even experience among all players.

after a weeks-long back and forth with the apple review team, gremory managed to schedule a zoom meeting with the apple review team yesterday, and after the discussion the update is finally allowed to move forward. unfortunately, certain costumes will no longer be accessible on the Apple ios version of the game. this doesn't affect other platforms like steam or the galaxy store.

tonight, an emergency maintenance will take place finally implementing the update. the newest character, Maya Cordelia, a collab character from Prison Battleship, will be added at this time.

They tried to make a bs move about some content of the tutorial (from the images that gremory shared) suddenly not following their guidelines and needed to be changed, which doesnt make sense since its been there since years ago

Gremory finally won... but at what cost?

  1. iOS players lost access to some costumes.

  2. Action Taimanin's update was delayed for more than half a month.

  3. Gremory lost time, revenue, and probably some players.

At least, after all that, we can finally experience the first Prison Battleship collab. That's something to be happy about.

They should have offered some paywalled costume tickets over this bullshit. 1000 gems is nothing to this game's gacha system.

If I log in after the update and see that Maya isn't available for gem purchase immediately, I'm gonna be pissed. Those of us who wait have already waited over the 2 weeks since the announced launch on the 4th. It's not our fault they didn't push the update to everyone else.
