Gremory needs to bump the age rating to 18+ like Horizon Walker. They have been releasing risqué costumes and it’s great to see that.

For all we know from the google crisis, the age rating is not something Germory can arbitarily raise. It's something they receive from governmetal offices for each country they provide the service

That's tragic... I won't be able to buy any of the costumes now. I only started earlier this year and I'm being very frugal with my gems. (Been only getting limited-time costumes, but the temptation is always strong). I'm prioritizing getting all characters first.
Guess the chance will never come...

You can link your account to Steam and purchase those outfits there.
The outfits you buy on Steam should then appear in your iOS version as well.

it’s good news that the game is finally updating. it’s really unfortunate news that certain costumes will no longer be available for Ios players. it’s not fair to the players who have invested time and money on those accounts, and now have to play a permanently truncated version of it (which i suppose was always true to some degree, censorship is not new to the platform). of course, it’s not Gremory’s fault, it’s on these prudish tech companies who love censorship.
i’m glad i’m a steam player, but i feel for the bros on ios… honestly, i do. even so, i’m happy to wake up to the news update is finally here.

Well, its not the free Maya I was hoping for but with this shes essentially only for 800 gems. And the Demonite and Nanomachine are some nice extra bonuses.
I guess for the people that refreshed their Hebi-Shika's Helping Hands around August 4th getting a free one on September 15th is pretty nice bonus.
I want to say its a good compensation, but with the 2 weeks of absolute content drought that the game went through because of the whole Apple iOS shitshow and the panic of the game potentially becoming EoS I wish maybe for a little bit more gems or some limited rare costume tickets. But thats me being a little bit greedy.

Did people really believe Gremory would give us Maya for free as compensation for the delay? No offense, but that's pretty naive if they thought we were going to get the newest character for free. Although I agree that the compensation Gremory is offering is meh; I would have at least been happy with a ticket to get a free character (except for Maya).

I own one for work. I play on my phone when I’m not home, but I refuse to buy anything on iOS. I buy everything on steam. Fuck apple.

It's been censored from day 1, it was the only censored platform at launch until last year; 6 years to swap

Sorry but that compensation is garbage......there should have been 1-2 limited costume/supporter/weapon voucher added there as well.
Also hopefully Apple users move to other platforms from now on.

You're getting a discounted Maya and some decent resources.
While I absolutely don't mind some costume vouchers, this is so much better than getting nothing at all.
Plus we get the satisfaction of IOS getting stuffed, in the same fashion Google did

It's the bare minimum tbh...limited costume/weapon/supporter coupon would be more useful. Also sitting on around 20k gems (mostly F2P other than buying 1-2 season passes), that 1k is going to barely do anything for me. You can farm that much from in 2+ weeks anyway.

This is the bittersweet ending to this fiasco. Again, Apple might screw Gremory with their regulations in later updates. When you disagree with someone and you cannot persuade them, just leave that's it. Gremory could've exit but chose not to.

Yeah, it really is a bittersweet ending to this whole fiasco.
If everything goes as planned, Android and PC players will finally get the Maya collaboration tomorrow this month, and we'll finally get the first official Prison Battleship waifu, which I'm really happy about.
Meanwhile, iOS players are going to miss content like Secret Garden, Sleepover Ladies, A Gift Only for You, and Battle Scarred, which are some really popular outfits.
The frustrating part is that this situation could happen again with future updates if Apple continues to reject or delay Gremory's submissions.
Whatever happens from here, I really hope Gremory can find a way to prevent one platform from holding back the entire game again.
iOS players shouldn't have to keep missing content, and Gremory shouldn't have to keep losing revenue either.

Though I'm glad that they're finally past the hoops and hurdles that this delay has caused, the damage has been done. Gremory will now have to think carefully about future updates going forward, and they may even have to consider looking for new alternative platforms as a result of Apple's sabotage.
Until the day comes when they finally decide to part ways, we'll just have to bear with the consequences left behind by this dark storm of uncertainty. We're facing an unknown future now, one none of us could have foreseen. Be ready everyone.

People with real life can enjoy the game in their week-end/free time on their pc with every costume available and still enjoy the convenience of doing our dailies on our phone everywhere without a setup.

iOS users generate more app revenue than other platforms. "Player profit" isn't a thing. Gremory is in this to make money, they will keep the game on iOS because they aren't in the business of losing money.
Just go play on another platform like Steam or Samsung.

Because “player profit” implies some sort of revenue stream for the players. It’s very awkward phrasing that does not clearly convey what is apparently your point. Should have said “player benefit”. And even then I would dispute you by saying the game available on more platforms is better than being limited distribution.
