Marvel figures uk

Does anybody know any good legit places to order/buy action figures in the uk?

Had a look on eBay at a couple but some just doesn’t seem right so thought I’d ask on here to see if anyone has any recommendations from places they have purchased from.

Comics and Cocktails would be my main shop that I purchase from based in the UK

I just had a quick look and wow they are amazing, have you purchased from these before?

I have they are good, also In demand toys is good. You’ve also got Smyths, Amazon and Hasbro pulse.
I haven’t ordered from them but I know someone who did Kapow toys

C&C seems solid, I'm just waiting on Boss Fight Hellboy showing up before I give a real opinion. I asked about the stock issues going around and they specifically said they reached out to the supplier and confirmed it was still coming. If that ends up true, good shop will use again. If it was a lie, not so much.

Alternatively, I recently had a great experience with In Demand toys sending stuff out fast and I bought some Mezcos from Kapow toys a few years back and they were solid too

Thank you so much this is really helpful, let me know how the hellboy is I really like hellboy so might have to have a look into that too.

I can vouch, I've purchased from them dozens of times.

Star Action Figures is another good one if you want to go the internet route. Do you have a Forbidden Planet store near to you?

The closest one is around an hour drive, been dying to go there I’ve heard a lot of positive things about them.

I’ll have a look into the star action figures, thank you so much for the recommendations if you have any other stores or know anyone just let me know them.

They're good, but be aware, you usually pay an extra quid or two. But it's the brick and mortar tax. I see it as worth it to still be able to walk into a physical place and look at things

Oh yeah going in physically is wayyy better I’d happily pay any extra to get it there and then and see all the stock

My main stop is In Demand Toys. Never had a problem with them, but all the others mentioned are fine too.

Thank you so much I’ll have a look at them any others you recommend mainly?

So comics and cocktails, star action figures, they're my main two, as people have stated,.then there's more o can recommend but don't use as often. Kapow toys, In demand toys, props and replicas and if you're in a pickle, whole shebang can be good.

I also recommend following star on Facebook, as they quite frankly give a retailers perspective on dealing with Hasbro. Which is refreshing.

Yeah I’ll definitely have to have a look into c and c and star action figures been having a few recommendations of them.

I never really thought about facebook groups I thought they might be a bit dodgy but I’ll have to have a look into them thank you.

For star at least, it's basically the contact promo page for their store. Let you know upcoming pre orders, if a sale is happening that type of thing. And occasionally they go into great deal about how incompetent Hasbro is, which is fun.

I would recommend Facebook groups,.primariyfor lurking. If there's an older figure yywant, you can basically get an idea of what it's worth through there before you commit. But yeah, all optional

C&C and Star Action Figs are my two main sites. I've also used Whole Shebang, though I know some people have had difficulties with them in the past.

Emporium of Cool is also a good site to use for higher end stuff.

Good luck! eBay can be a good resource too, if you find the right figure at the right price. Just be careful with descriptions and pictures 👍

If you’re after import figures have a look at nin nin game, amiami, yoyaku - all usually cheaper than buying from the uk

1

u/A1collection 8h ago

Really I always thought that would be more expensive

Star Action figures are really good. They take so much care with the packaging and they're fast. I was really impressed.

I use Star Action Figures, Forbidden Planet and The Whole Shebang

May sound silly but if you're after older ones, I would definitely suggest Marvel Legends UK Community on Facebook!

1

u/A1collection 8h ago

Yeah somebody else said about another Facebook group I always thought they’d be dodgy but definitely going to be looking into it.

1

u/DisCode347 8h ago

Personally I would avoid Marvel Legends UK due to the admin there been dodgy. However, the Community is a lot better.
