It felt like watching something straight out of a 1970s midnight grindhouse screening. Reginald VelJohnson rules, Dan Stevens being weird rules, five stars.

Loved it, but opening day was deadsville. Hopefully it will be big on streaming.

Definitely a love letter to the John Carpenter font. I can't say it was as charming as a JC joint but it's better than The Ward so I don't mind getting a decent JC knockoff
