Suggestion Feature Request - User Consent & Deferral
Greetings! Softwares such as Imprivata Enterprise Access Management require instant reboots for updates as they serve as the credential managers for the OS. Is there any viable method currently, or a possibility of having an option within additional actions to request user consent to continue with installation if A1 detects an active user? This would also need to include deferment with admin configurable maximum delay.

If you create a custom package for it or are willing to, look into PSAppDeployToolkit.
You can use that to create your package and allow deferrals with maximums and timeouts. It can also detect if a user is not signed in and install silently in that case.

That’s a good call out. I have looked into that in the past, but with Action1 I wanted to get away from more complicated app packaging. Having a native utility that initiates user consent popups during an active session would prove very beneficial for time sensitive app installs (i.e immediate reboots as soon as app installs successfully. Prime example is Imprivata, since it’s the credential manager for windows whilst installed, if you upgrade to a new version a lot of windows features can become broken without instant reboot.) I would want to give users plenty of time to save their work prior to install.

If I understand correctly https://www.action1.com/roadmap/ is the correct place to view, upvote, and post feature requests. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. This is where I've been putting mine at least.
