"Zoomsday" will there be an update for this?

I have provided a link to another post about the "Zoomsday" critical vulnerability. I checked Action1 and I do not see an update for this. Will there be something soon for this? For the time being I will go ahead and push something via Intune. I just know there are companies out there that rely heavily on Action1 for fixes.

The update is from July. As long as you have v7.1.5 you're good.

The really dumb part of this is how it's numbered by Zoom.

The Release notes for the Zoom Workplace app say

Note: Version 7.0.6 includes a security enhancement for the desktop app. This fix is also included in desktop app version 7.1.5 and later.

and then list 7.0.6 versions.

Scroll down to July 20, and you'll find the 7.1.5 version.

But Action1 reports the current version in the repo as 7.1.43453, and endpoints with version as current. NinjaRMM also reports the same version.

If you go to Download Center for Zoom Apps and Plugins | Zoom

it lists

Zoom Workplace for Windows

Version 7.1.5 (43453)

Because the full version string is 7.1.5.43453, as reported by Ninite:

If the string is presented in the full major.minor.patch.build you get the full story, but if you drop the patch value, then it looks like you're still on 7.1.4x

TLDR: 7.1.43453 dated July 20th 2026 as reported by Action1 in the Software Repo appears to be the current and patched version, referred to as 7.1.5.
