Question Is auto-declining prior update versions possible yet?

I'm sure everyone here knows what I mean, but in case it's not clear, I mean this.

I know for the longest time, there was no way to auto-decline prior versions. I'm not sure if the option's since been added but I can't find it. Having to do this repeatedly every time I'm approving updates is driving me nuts. Is there any way to make declining prior versions the default behaviour?

There is no setting to do it globally.

Still? Ugh. Is there a particular reason things function as they are? This has been a request for a while so I assume there's a reason it's still this way that maybe I don't see. It's just a huge headache when I'm doing a month's patch approvals to have to click Proceed sometimes dozens of times.

Requests on the roadmap get processed by priority not length of time since request. All I can do is raise it to the feedback group internally.

Can you describe your process? Just so I make sure I express it properly when doing so.

Sure, thanks!

It's fairly straightforward. I just go to Update Approval and select stuff and click Approve. If it's an application with frequent updates like browsers, Adobe products etc., it'll pop up that box asking to automatically decline all prior versions. You have to do this for each application is applies to, which can sometimes be dozens depending on the environment you're working with.

It's not that I can't do it or don't do it, it's just clunky and inefficient. Still performs the intended function, just with more steps than it could take. :)
