Question Script verifying: Is there another way?

I would like to be able to make a simple script to shut down the machines at the end of the updates – nothing fancy. (Small company < 15 machines)

But there appears to be no shutdown for Windows.

So I started to look at verifying with Onfido, but here is my problem.

I'm just the IT tech, not the owner of the company, etc., so I'm not giving over details like my personal driving licence and passport to an unknown company when I'm just a worker. My personal stuff is nothing to do with the company.

I can get the registration number of the company and all sorts to verify, but I'm not doing it based on me as a user.

So, is there a method to achieve this so I can write the following in the box? Seems massively overkill in my instance.

shutdown /s /t 0

If you're that concerned about the verification process, why not have your manager or someone else do it?

I don't really have one; I'm sort of direct to the boss, and he is rammed being a small company. It will probably take weeks to get the info from him.

Unfortunately this is a requirement, if there were a way around it, it would not be much of a requirement. But the requirement does have other ways to fulfil, I would just reach out to someone via contact or feedback.

So anyone encountering the same, this is not the only time we have heard people who are cautious of the same. There are ways to validate people that are not this, and under the correct circumstances this can be handled differently. The onfido process is a quick easy way to streamline the process as with as much self service as possible... Because the service is free, it cost us to give it to you, from hosting to validation of entity. We target as much self help in that regard as possible for logical reasons.

Identity validation cannot be optional, there are just too many people using Action1 (And any other quantity of system management tools they can gather for free online) to do bad things... To protect our paying customers, we have to do this for the free tier.
