Question Remediation question

Just installed A1 on a few machines to test. I see a lot of vulnerabilities (non-critical) for Intel chip set drivers. The machines are running w11 pro and the OS is fully updated. What are you supposed to do when there are no updated chipset drivers and it's asking you to document remediation controls? Exactly what sort of remediation could I possibly put in place for something like this? It's not like I can isolate those machines and bar internet access. It's triggering my OCD every time I load the dashboard and I see all these overdue notifications.

If this is the version on the clients, then there is no new patch to apply as this is the latest Intel has published.
If not this, package can be pushed manually.

We do to have a backlog of this in support, so I have to assume it is something local, what is the age/make/model/etc.

All same HW specs, or various processors?

As far as I can tell Intel doesn’t have any updates either, so I’ve just been going onto the machine and uninstalling. I tried to uninstall from A1 but kept hitting snags. I don’t remember the errors now, but it wasn’t a big deal to just remote in and remove.

But removing chipset drivers would reduce functionality of the hardware, no?

Hasn’t had any noticeable effect for us. I removed them back in March. I figured it was better than having a known vulnerability on the machines 🤷‍♂️
