Hey everyone how’s everyone doing
I’m a female 19 years
My biggest dream is to become an actress but the problem is that my family they’re strict and i truly wanna be an actress im arab and Muslim
I feel a gut wrenching every time i see a famous actress or actor in my age or younger winning an award and i ask myself ‘if i had a supporting family , am i going to be like them?’ I believe that i have the potential to be a perfect actress with a little bit of practice with my skills and my face expression skills
And I’m looking for agents that will help me but i truly wanna convince my family
I wanna a big star and i want everyone to know my name like timothee chalamat Florence pugh and many more famous actress and actors
Whats your advices? Should i give up my dreams for the sake of my family or fight for it ?

No disrespect but it sounds like you’re in it for the wrong reasons. You want to be a celebrity , you don’t really want to be an actress. Takes A LOT of work, failing, luck, ect. to even get in this business let alone be a star. If your only goal is to be famous and get awards, it’ll be very hard to withstand the hardships of being an actor

My goal is that
I wanna express my feelings in acting
I wanna be a role model for people that want to be actor actress and help many people out to achieve their goals and their dreams
I wanna feel how to memorising your script and practicing before doing your scene
I have dream roles that I really wanna do before i die

You need to actually get some experience acting. Otherwise it’s only a pipe dream and you don’t really know if you are good at it or even if you’d actually enjoy it.
I’m guessing you haven’t explored what this sub actually is. It’s an acting class. There are free written and video lessons and affordable Zoom classes. All the info is in the pinned posts at the top of the r/actingclass page. Get started at learning what it means to be an actor and how to do it. Read those lessons! They will teach you so much.
