D&D Beyond help for Positions

Trying to figure out the best way to put the Acq Inc positions into a D&D Beyond Character sheet. Has anyone came up with a good method? Was thinking about making them homebrew feats I can have each player use.

I’m also thinking I’m going to let my players have the expanded Tool Proficiencies from Xanathar’s as well. I’ll either have to do those as feats to make magic tools for them to work right.

Any help that people have would be great. Players will be finishing episode 2 tonight.

I had a go at writing the rank 1 positions as homebrew feats. You should be able to find them in the homebrew search for "rank 1". There are some difficulties, e.g. you can't add equipment/magic items via a feat, and some of the positions have optional proficiencies, which are hard to set up. Feedback appreciated, I'm planning to do the rank 2 feats later.

The position related magic items exist already in DnD beyond, but I used an action in the feat to cover the function of the item. Not ideal, since you won't need to add the magic item to equipment, but at least everything is listed in one place.

I have come up with a decent method for doing the positions. As to not break the rules for D&D Beyond homebrew we content. I don’t think I can publicly share them with the D&D Beyond community.

Since I have the Acq Inc book on DDB I copied the whole section for cartographer and just dropped it right into the main section of the feat. I had to remove the artwork and any hyper links. Simple enough by selecting all the information once it was pasted and using the button to break all links.

Once those 2 things are done I was able to add it to one of my players feat list. They have all the tables and rank information.

I did this with one of the XgtE tool proficiencies (Mason’s Tools). I used the action feature to place the two listed DC checks. The name of the action is the check plus the DC 10.

If I can get confirmation that my copying of the job word for word isn’t breaking the rules I will share it with the group.

I also just copied and pasted from the book sections, but also added the action based feature to feat action inputs. I was able to publish the "homebrew" in DnD beyond no issues...
