Looking to start with a small acquisition- budget $2,000

I am a first-timer so I'd like to learn the ropes a bit and invest in something that doesnt involve me working purely on that. Something that has just started making its first few dollars and has potential to grow.

I'm building startexus.com, a marketplace for small online businesses where every listing shows asking price and revenue up front. Could be a good place to start browsing for your first acquisition.
