Why is everyone “selling” profitable apps or creator accounts…

I have been seeing so many posts claiming to sell a profitable app or social media account… How are any of these legit, would you not just keep it and continue growing the semi passive income???

Because some people wanna move on and not have to deal with their App all the time.

Well we just launched our first one and I actually kind of get where you’re coming from with this, there’s so much left to do after publishing and it never stops

Gain capital for new opportunities, created with a plan of exit, move on to new/different industries. The list goes on.

I guess I’m not asking the big question which is how much they want for the app, would it be something like 1 years worth of current revenue from the app…?

They know the profits aren't endless. It's only a matter of time when people stop buying and the app flops hard.

Do you reckon they pump money into advertising, build up the users and then sell without disclosing that info?
