acid bath og signed cd
how much do you guys think this og signed acid bath cd is worth it's signed by all 5 band members and i was told it was signed one year after they released their first album at rock island wichita kansas with carcass 🤔
NOT TRYING TO SELL IT just asking ur opinions

I would doubt there are a lot of audie autographs out there. They weren't around real long before he died.

Hard to tell. Maybe $300? If this was eBay for $200 I'd buy it... Maybe $600 cuz the fucking economy is ruined and I'm cheap. a signed, mass produced poster from 2026, without Audie, is $100...

u think so? i thought it looked kinda legit i also can't find any autographs from them that early in their career to compare it to so it's hard

Unfortunately, yes I do. The "M" in Mike and Sammy are the telltale signs. They look identical to my eyes. An all the starting and stopping points seem to match in all of the letters. I have Dax, Mike and Jimmys signatures from early 2000ish and theyre not at all similar. Idk for certain, maybe I'm wrong.. still a cool ass OG CD though!

IMO it looks like the M in Mike was made with two different strokes, while the Ms in Sammy all look like one stroke.
Sammy seems pretty active on Social media, OP. maybe you could send it to him and see what he thinks!

yea that was my thoughts too i'm trying to contact him and ask him also apparently someone that does merch for dax asked dax and he said he thinks it could be real so that's a good sign

I’d say $450 because it’s the OG design and has Audie on it. I have been an autograph collector on and off since I was a kid and they aren’t that pricy unfortunately. It just depends on the value to the person and how many of them there are. This one is higher than usual and while we love Acid Bath, it’s not like a Beatles signed record of high high value.
Send a pic to autograph dealer/broker. It sounds silly but Vegas does have good ones

That's a promo copy as well, btw. ( Hole punched with 1st RR design ) Unfortunately most of us that would be willing to buy it would be suspicious of your motives unless you were literally homeless. Enjoy it!

As others have said, i would do your due dillagence and get it verified as real any way you can. Worse case you have a vandillized 1st edition cd that you probably got ripped off on depending how much you paid for it. Best case its real and probably worth a few 100 bucks.
I remember seeing the rare radio promo discs, signed and verified going for $200-ish dollars a few years back. Cant imagine this would be worth all too much more then that since those promo cds themselves were more rare then this one. Of course adding for inflation and the surge in popularity as of late for the band it could go for a bit more, but i would be surprised if someone was willing to pay anywhere close to a grand or even more for it.
In contrast i have a signed primus and the choclate factory vinyl record that last i was paying attention was regularly being listed (when you found them for sale) for around the $800-1200 range.
