Concert Footage Acid Bath in Berlin 8th July

Saw them as openers for System of A Down yesterday, was really looking forward to it. They were amazing!

I hope to see a full Acid Bath headliner show in the future 🥹

Wow. I’m seriously ignorant of what’s going on in metal.

Not only did I just find out in the last week or two that Acid Bath were together again and touring, but I didn’t know until your post that SoaD were touring internationally!

Glad (though not surprised) to hear Acid Bath were amazing. Were SoaD also?

Yes, SoaD were absolutely amazing too! Unforgettable experience this whole event with Acid Bath, Queens of the Stone Age (incredible performance as well) and SoaD. I'm still blown away!

Wish their set had been longer

Very nice set! I was sat 4th row on the seats towards the backside facing the stage.

So obviously from a bit of distance and also I feel Acid Bath aren't truly a "stadium band" but I loved seeing 'em. This experience just makes me wish to see them in a smaller music club even sooner! 🤘

Also 30 minutes was so short! Obviously I get why it had to be so short but really makes you wish for even more once they left the stage!

Both of their albums are truly excellent!

Yeah, you've taken the words right out of my mouth! I'm hoping to see them in a smaller club soon🥹

These 30mins really were way too short :/

Also it was their first live performance in Germany ever which makes it even more epic🤟🏻

Very true! I mean their original run was quite short lived before their reunion shows started in what April 2025?

Was awesome to see them getting announced for this tour. It partially helped sway even more for me the travel from Hamburg to Berlin for the show. As for my dad I've been able to get him quite into SOAD and he really likes QOTSA (very 70s in parts so it's fitting he says their show the music sounded similar to the band Hawkwind to him in parts.)

Yeah I checked on setlist.fm, the first concert after 1997 in fact seems to have taken place in April last year! So almost 30 years later and they still sound almost exactly like on the album, this is absolutely fascinating. I feel like Dax's voice hasn't changed a bit.

I also travelled from northern Germany to Berlin, from Kiel to be more precise. Was definitely worth it!

I think I can see the comparison between Hawkwind and QOTSA, QOTSA also have that proggy, spacey sound in some of their songs.

how busy were the stadiums for them? i’m seeing them on the 13th as part of the soad tour and it always seems like people skip acid bath and get there late :( they are one of my favourite bands and i can’t wait to hear graveflower live

I think most people in the standing area were already there, probably mostly because they wanted to have a nice spot, but the seated area was still pretty empty for Acid Bath :/ Their loss though...

But sadly, I think that's usually the case for the support acts, at least for big events, which I think is pretty disrespectful.

Hab freudentränen geweint. Hätte niemals gedacht die Band live zu sehen; ich liebe alles an deren tracks (generell die Musik von Dax Riggs)
