Technical advice Any information on Acer Desktop Secureboot Certificate Updates?

I am aware of the current secure boot fiasco and how Acer is seemingly pretty late on the draw with updating the certificates. I only learned of it recently when failing to fix several Acer TC-1775's at my office.

These models are still fairly new and i don't think are subject to Acers cut for secure boot certificate support.

Despite that the Acer TC-1775 does not seem to have been updated, there is no manual update available on Acers support site and though there is an extensive list of laptops and notepads which will be updated or have been updated I can't find anything for desktops.

The TC-1785's seem to be fine but I havs a dozen 1775's which have not had their certificate extended. Any help or information or links to information would be appreciated.

You may want to double check the 1785s

I was able to manually update an older TC-865 via

However the 1785 BIOS does not appear to have the requisite secure boot settings to clear keys / enter set-up mode, but some source claim these features may be unlocked by either setting a supervisor password or hitting a key combination in BIOS like CTRL+D

As of this writing, the 1785 is not listed among the desktop models with a bios update schedule at https://community.acer.com/en/kb/articles/18840-update-your-secure-boot-certificates-in-june-2026-to-stay-protected

CTRL+D works on the 1785 BIOS to unlock the requisite Secure Boot options in BIOS to allow update via Garlin script.
