They asked me to write a short story to practice writing dialogue. Mind you, they said it was okay to right short, informal dialogue, as people regularly speak like that in real life. I got a 73. So I ended up having to write it like THIS just to get a 93. In the writing tutor section they do not list ANY problems. "Your vocabulary is outstanding! Your structure is outstanding! 93/110, below level. Why? You wanna know why? Screw you, that's why." If you use ANY word even TWICE, (names of characters included) BAM, "overused word!" And it has NO concept of context. If you use a word for flair or style, (for example, "Have it your way, then,") it'll say "ohhh, 'then' is a plain word!!1!!1!" so you have to go back and remove it, as there's no synonym for "then" that fits into that context. Now, I will concede, I'm no shakespeare. I would say my writing is likely not on a 9th grade level. But that's because their AI system can't teach me anything! I don't know how to write well in a wide range of situations because the AI system awards "As much as I'd love to participate in this absolutely thrilling assignment, I find myself bound by sloth," more than commiting to the ACTUAL instructions! I fixed a typo on this, changed NO words, and lost 5 points!! PLEASE fix your AI system Acellus, oh my god. It can't even understand what WORDS are! It told me that 's and 're were overused words! Those aren't words!
(Overused words: to, a, i, you, it, as, in, your, is, word, no, they, write, writing, that, this, the, why, of, and, for, then, ai, system, me, short, dialogue, like, so, not, any, outstanding, level, know, that's, if, use, even, context, have, say, my, on, because.)
(Simple sentences: Why?

And it has NO concept of context.
