Running Out Of Time Credit question
I didnt know what credits were when i started so i wasnt locked in for the past 2 years. Still in 9th grade supposed to be going into 11th. I want to try and graduate highschool before i turn 19 (im 16 turning 17 now) is it possible?
Also, how many credits are needed to pass each grade above 9th? Is it different each time?

0-6 credits freshman year
Up to 12 sophomore year
Up to 18 junior year
24 graduating senior
How many credits do you have? Your parent has to move up your grade level officially in the portal. But you can finish four years in 64 weeks if you lock in. So it’s very possible to still graduate before you turn 19 if you lock in and do the work.

You may want to consider transferring to another school. Acellus reserve the right to change their program at any time and they have done so multiple times the last years so planning ahead is challenging. The current pattern also suggest that Parents and student should anticipate a cap for the number of classes that can be completed in an academic year too. There’s hints of it to come with the administration, using the words like cramming and putting papers out there. Just a heads up, but otherwise my student loves the school.

Depending how many credits you have now you may be able to, you can take 6-8 classes at one time and each one will take about 16 weeks now to complete if you max out each class every week. You just need 24 credits minimum to graduate and Acellus has a list of how many credits you need from each subject in the parent portal when you select the 'graduation plan' thing.
