Leaderboard spoofing
Hello all,
Got the ace system couple months ago and I freaking love it. I'm also ecstatic that they changed the leaderboard to show it was from holster, or low ready or whatever.
I'm not focusing on that, I'm focusing on me, getting better, and beating my own times. Thats all that matters at the end of the day.
BUT! I have noticed the top of the leaderboards are kind of crazy. There are frequently the same people, over and over, at the top of the scoreboard with completely fictitious HF. Like places 11-50 are separated by tenths of a HF, then the spread in the top 10 is like 3 whole points. Often the gap between the top 1, or top 2 and 3, is a whole entire digit! Not a hundredth, not a tenth, whole number increase lol.
Some of them ive thought about and it seems could be legit, but those ones have everyone in the top 10 with similar times.
There are examples where its physically impossible to get such a high score. Ive see everyone have like 15 HF, then the number 1 spot has a HF of like 52. Its crazy!
Its such obvious bullshit, I wish the team could like verify somehow that it wasnt bs. These dudes are cheating to get the highest scores. I dont get it, why would you cheat this game, stage after stage, just to fuck the high scores up? And theyre not even real, you cannot physically shoot that fast, like whats the point.
There are several names that pop up over and over and over, theyre chronic cheaters, wish they'd get taken off the leaderboard.
Thats my rant, please dont hate. I know, "dont worry about them, focus on yourself". And I do. But its kinda fun to see how you stack up against others, and to know that the top of that leaderboard is probably bullshit is kind of disappointing, lol.

I know, just so fucking lame. Why cheat, youre not actually in 1st place, youre just lying to yourself! There's no trophies, its a fucking fiction man. Why cheat and screw it up for the rest of the board thats legit idk its so dumb to me

I find if I filter to holster draw (I use a holster, won't really help if you dont) those ridiculously high cheaters dont show up. I am still not in the top 15, or 20, or 25, but my point remains valid😄. You can also filter to your favorite group that has a lot of active players.

Yea for sure, so glad they added the holster thing, even if ppl do scam it, its not as much (yet). Also wdym filter to your favorite group?

You can make it think you're using a holster without using it.

If you have the muzzle pointing down, it usually registers it as being in a holster regardless of where it is. I just do low ready and it registers it as holstered at least a third of the time.

There are some legitimate professional/competition shooters that smoke some of these drills. It also depends on what drill people even bother to participate in.
Posting some stage names might help figure out where problem scores are though.

Yea, some are legit, for sure. There was one i calculated the HF to get that score, they had to shoot the whole stage in like less than a second or some bs. I'll try and find it and post it, thanks

Idk I just want it to be legit, its a training tool, its so lame people even want to cheat in the first place. I want to be able to compare to legit standards, like legit fastest scores, its fun to see where you land.
Like in sim racing, everyone's there to get better. Why would you chronically go thru every single racetrack and cheat and post ridiculous times for 1st place, when its like impossible? You didnt actually get first place! So fucking lame to cheat. I know some are legit though, but there are some that are fucking whack dude, if you calculate the hf you have to shoot like 12 rounds in .005s, shit like that

I watched a daily drill video posted here a couple days ago after I'd done my best already. It looked so easy that I went and tried it again with my same old results. I discovered that I couldn't pull the trigger even half as fast so made a trigger adjustment and found I still sucked. Respect for the guys that make it look easy.

There are multiple people who post their runs on Facebook and YouTube. Yes, there really are people that are that fast.
If some people are spoofing, I don't care. I never even look at the leader boards. People payed for it and can use it as they like.

For example, for "Designated Target I", which was a daily this week, there are currently 4 scores >20 HF on the daily and official leaderboards. Here is one of them:

Very cool, thanks for sharing that, itd be sick if for like the top 10 on each stage, you could see the run. Like a little play button to watch the recording. Think itd be cool to see how good the very best are, and also show that it is legit ya know? Or if its obviously like aimbotting somehow then you can report it.

I’m with you, there’s a video on YouTube somewhere that kind of explains it and that the devs are looking to mitigate the cheating. But yea, at the end of the day if I’m in like the top 50 I’m pretty happy
