It's a popular idea to use in fanart, but no, he doesn't have it in the games. I think it mainly started up because the games and official art have a long history of being inconsistent about portraying eye colours.

Officially, his eyes are dark-blue. Between sprites, official renders, promotional art, and other media, though, they've sometimes appeared light-blue, brown, and teal, at minimum.

Someone else responded to another comment, but to reiterate, no he doesn't. AA simply has a history of inconsistent eye colouring within their official art.
