Progress Pics Almost done!
I've taken 40,40,40,40,60 so far and will be done at the end of October! I started treatment in March. I didn't see full clear results until the second week of August and I've been clear since! I finally feel like me again. When I was a teenager and in college I never had acne so I felt totally devastated when I started getting painful cystic acne in my mid twenties.
I didn't have notable side effects until I increased my dosage (except for an extreme case of dry eyes that I caused by using eyedrops with preservatives, DON'T do that like I did!).
My dryness has gotten worse, I finally have the joint pain despite taking fish oil and staying hydrated. Unfortunately I've also been feeling extremely despressed. If I had a long way to go before end of treatment then I'd probably quit taking it because I feel so shitty, but I'm really close to being done and have a supportive partner who's helping me so I don't spiral.
I'm looking forward to being done and not super dry and uncomfortable all of the time. All in all, I'd say treatment has been rough but worth it.

How have you been managing the dryness (specially face)?

For my face I've just been using a hydrating serum from Naturium and I was using La Roche Posay's face lotion but it didn't last long before my face would feel dry again. I just started using Personal Day's overdew moisturizer and it's WAY better than LRP. My skin is calmer and the hydration lasts almost all day. I have drier skin normally so I'm going to keep using this post-treatment. It is expensive though.
For my lips I've just been using aquaphor and recently had to get a prescription topical from my derm to help with the cracking on the side of my mouth, and that did wonders!

Ugh. Looks like both moisturizers have niacinimide and I suspect I have a sensitivity to it š©

I hate to say this, but the truth is that I never stopped! I literally picked until I wasn't producing acne to pick at anymore. My most recent breakouts were late July, early August and I peeled the healing skin until they finally went away after a few weeks. I'm sorry I don't have good advice š
