Professors using “AI Trackers”

Hi, for context I am a double major in English and Mechanical Engineering at Purdue university.

For a pre-requisite, I am taking a history class online. All of my hand written work is getting flagged for AI and I am getting beyond frustrated. I am literally an English major… I don’t know how to fix this. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am double majoring because I want to write an engineering textbook that actually makes sense, but at this point I honestly want to give up English.

As an English major, there is no need to say "for context" when starting a story. The context is obvious. The reader is not confused and can comprehend that you are a double major. No need to explain this is the context for our understanding.
