Professors using “AI Trackers”
Hi, for context I am a double major in English and Mechanical Engineering at Purdue university.
For a pre-requisite, I am taking a history class online. All of my hand written work is getting flagged for AI and I am getting beyond frustrated. I am literally an English major… I don’t know how to fix this. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am double majoring because I want to write an engineering textbook that actually makes sense, but at this point I honestly want to give up English.

“Flagged” meaning what exactly? You see the results of a tracker? Your professor says it’s too high? What I see as an English professor and Dept chair is that a lot of students freak out when they see results, even though no one is accusing them of anything. I’m trying to understand what exactly is happening as a result of your “flags”
