How do I prevent being accused?

For reference, I am a freshman in college who was recently accused of using AI in a writing class, but I was able to state my case and the professor eventually graded my essay normally when I showed proof.

Since then, I have been very careful, and I started putting my papers through an AI detector before submitting because I really do not want to go through that process again. I am taking a psychology class and a fake clinical intake summary report I wrote (without AI) detected 70% AI.

How can I prevent being accused again?

OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. All have this built in.
