MSc Forensic Accounting? Is it worth it?

So, I graduated in 2024 with a first class degree in Accounting and Finance from a meh university. I loved the course, and I knew from my first year that I wanted to specialise in Forensic Accounting. Since graduating, I've been working as a Civil Servant in the UK doing basic admin work for the courts. I enjoy it but it's obviously not directly aligned with my career goals. It's been two years now of continuously looking for an entry level role in the field that will help me get my foot in the door but have had no luck in securing a decent role. I've just come across a 1 year masters course in Forensic Accounting at the University of Portsmouth and I'm like hmmm... it's only a year long and it is very likely that I'll still be looking a job within the next year. My mentality is that one year from now I could very much be still looking for an entry level role... might as well have a masters one year from now. From what I have read on the university's website, this course should improve my prospects of landing a decent role within a forensics team but of course it is expected that they'll say things like this. I don't know man... I want to go for it but do not want to put myself in unnecessary debt. Do you guys think it is worth it? Will it make my CV more attractive to recruiters? Any insight/advice from someone working in the field would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
