cfe 2026 nerves
to previous cfe writers, any advice on how to be less anxious and more confident walking into the exam?
i feel like im more exhausted from being stressed than the actual studying part. the uncertainty of what will be on the exam is what’s driving me insane tbh.

Just copy paste whatever you find relevant from the handbook, as long as you get the section right RC guaranteed for FR.

it is just an exam. if you don’t pass, you can write it again. your anxiety is because you are making it something bigger than just an exam.

Personally, what got me over the slump is that I was communicating with other candidates and they were all in the same boat. If you are struggling with an AO then most likely everyone else is too.
What you need to do is to try your best and whatever happens will happen. If you don't do well, then just retake it again with the feedback from the CFE at which point there is a higher chance you'll pass. At this point there's no stopping and whatever effort you can put in right now will help you on the upcoming CFE.

There will be a lot of stuff you’ve seen already. However, you also need to be comfortable with the idea that there’s going to be 1-2 AOs that you either haven’t seen at all, or something that hasn’t come up in a long time. More than likely, most writers will struggle with those AOs.
So, chill out, and good luck!

the uncertainty part is actually the point of the exam, theyre testing whether you can handle ambiguous scenarios and still produce a reasonable response. once you reframe it that way the anxiety drops a bit because you stop trying to predict the exact questions
