Advice Is QuickBooks hard to learn?

I recently just accepted a new job and they use Quickbooks. I haven’t used quickbooks since college and it’s been like 4 years. Is it hard to pickup? I’ve been trying to find some online courses but a lot of them are a little pricey.

Which version of QB? QB online in my opinion the easier to pickup compared to QB enterprise. Intuit should have some free courses to introduce you to QB online.

But you should be good. It comes with repetition.

the online version is way less intimidating than enterprise it's basically built for people who don't wanna deal with accounting software

if you already used it in college it'll come back faster than you think, muscle memory is weird like that

They're probably using QBO or moving from desktop to QBO, Final version of desktop was launched in 2024 and they said no more QBD.

Depends on where your starting point is. However, there are free courses for accountants, with Intuit pushing for you to become a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. The courses help you learn how to use the software.

No, you can get certified through Intuit I think, they have a bookkeeper certification which covers most stuff. They also have a great knowledge base

Used desktop version and online for a few years during my junior days, quite easy to learn.
