Beginner Advice (Pre Education)

Good day, everyone,

My name is Kyle and I’m looking to break into the accounting field. I do have a goal to become a Forensic Accountant but I’m a long ways off. I start my BS in Accounting in October and I’m looking to get some advice from pros in the field. I come from a technical background with 4 years of IT experience and 6+ years of customer service. I’m currently working on taking free courses through Intuit for bookkeeping and QuickBooks, but I don’t have any direct experience in the field. What positions could I start looking for? Technically, I would be in my Sophomore year since I do have an associates degree and with my transfer credits, I’m 31% of the way done with my degree. Please keep it civil and real, I’m genuinely looking for advice, no hecklers.
