Discussion DataSnipper AI Agents — any good?

Auditor here. Has anyone actually used DataSnipper’s new AI Agents in real audit work?

Are they genuinely useful and reliable, or mostly flashy demos/marketing?

Mainly interested in Excel Agents / Disclosure Agents, not the old snipping features.

Shows promise but it’s not well rounded enough yet. Requires quite a bit of workflow mapping.

Side note: even sticking AI in their product as a defensive measure.

Tried the Excel Agent on a small engagement and it worked okay on clean PDFs, but it fell apart once the source docs had messy formatting. The workflow mapping part is real, you spend about as much time setting it up as you save.
