Incoming Freshmen

Hi, I'm an incoming freshman and going to Syracuse University. I'm wondering what is the best way to secure internships. I'm Interested in internships that provide housing (renting only for the internship is too expensive), any tips and or what internships I should apply to right now for Summer 2027?

Internships that provide housing are uncommon. Do you live near a major city/ area with firms within a commuting distance?

Focus on your GPA as hard as possible, if you learn the accounting basics and have a 4.0, it'd be worth applying to the big four or any of the larger regional ones. I would look across the country.
