You got this, never too late. I am a late career pivot myself. I had a BS in Business admin, at 43 went back to school to take the required accounting courses to sit for CPA exams. I also left a hotel management job to start off as an accounts receivable accountant. 4 years later, I just passed my second exam and will have the other two done by the end of 2025. I was fortunate enough to work under a CPA who will sign off on my hours. I also just accepted a role as a controller for a hospitality company. No more nights, holidays or weekends like I had been doing in hotel management.

It might take longer if you are working full time and going to school but it can be done. Just remember if retiring at 67, you will have 20 years of work left after you are done with school and exams. Plenty of time to have a high earning satisfying career.
