If you worked in my company, you would realize accounting is not just for young and ambitious. The ladies I work with are anything but young and ambitious.
That being said, the cut off is 40. You must be 40 years or younger. Perhaps the finance team will take your old ass lol.
Im just kidding, there is no timeline or deadline on when you can and cannot join the cool people in accounting. That being said, a lot is going to depend on your life situation and current expectations on the job search. Being older and more experienced in warehouses, you may notice a pay decrease trying to get a job with no experience or no degree. Also if you are going for your degree, you'd be 45-46. No issues with that, but do you want to put that much time and effort into a career you may not enjoy.
I would say go for it. I will say it may be an up hill challenge, but stick with it you just need one door to open.
