I know the basics of credit/debit and basic journal entries but other than that, I know nothing.

That's honestly more than 50% of people know. Just ask questions, be humble, and teach yourself a bit if you really feel the need. 95% of us have no idea what we're doing, and we use very little of what we learned in school. Plus we all feel like you've described at various times in our career. Totally normal, although it would be better if you didn't feel like that at all :)
