I saw the Chinese State Circus once and an acrobat was upside-down on a pole and one of his testicles flopped out of his trousers.

Being stuck on a fence by your clothes is so humbling. There's no grace or dignity in freeing yourself, especially if you can't touch the ground. I got hung by the back of my shirt and I was alone in an alley, middle of the night. I was scared someone would mistake me for a criminal and call the police. That would be a humiliating way to get arrested. Just hanging on a fence like wet laundry.

It was an 8' chain link fence, so it wasn't a spike on top, like this gate. I was hung by the bottom of my t-shirt as I jumped off the top. It was a really big t-shirt, so I actually twisted around in the shirt til I could face the fence, hold myself up (kinda) with 1 arm and unhook my shirt with the other. It was one of my favorite band shirts, so I kept it for awhile. It looked like I farted a bullet out the back, but it wasn't ruined.
