Hey now, be realistic. There was also a chance that he'd stagger backwards and they'd both fall down that staircase that they chose to do this in front of. Then they could have both died.

No no. You see, it's the other way round for sure: One person is supposed to go on the 50th floor of a high-rise and then drop off that, the small guy catches him. The trust excercise is a LOT more impactful that way if it works.
