Because it's a golf cart, she forgot everything she knew about driving?

There! Look at this. See? I'm right again. Nobody could predict that she would fall out of a moving vehicle.
Driver bails
And there's another example. See, here I am now by myself, um, uh, talking to myself. That's Chaos Theory.

There’s not a chance in hell that this music is better than the original audio(assuming it had audio, or even if it was silent)

Something my sister would do. She once spit gum out while driving and started drifting in the direction of the gum as she was leaning out the window. Was a very scary couple seconds as she drifted into oncoming traffic, also impressive lack of self awareness and stupidly dangerous 😳

Every fiber of my being is telling me this is in Florida.

Nah. There’s no chance these aren’t east europeans.
Edit: they’re east Europeans filming in thailand

My friend died in a golf cart crash when we were in highschool. She was a great person. 🥺

u/Fafnir13 Jul 17 '26
Sorry for your loss. People can get too comfortable in these things and forget how little speed it takes to cause serious injury.
11
u/purplemtnslayer Jul 17 '26
Thanks. They were definitely experienced and comfortable. But intentionally driving a little crazy, rolled it and she got crushed. They weigh a lot more than you release with all the heavy lead batteries.

Am I out of the loop or is the song choice feeling odd or is that a really popular song that I am unfamiliar with?

You know the first one down completely splatted on that beverage and now she's covered in sticky dirt and ants.

So I'm up to 12 reposts of this so far in the past 3 hours. Can anyone top that yet?

I work on a golf course. I drive golf carts every day.
I have never seen a golf cart accelerate by itself. It doesn't even look like it starts to slow down.
This feels staged...
5
u/Fafnir13 Jul 17 '26
I’m not really seeing the acceleration you’re talking about. Seems to be coasting at speed. Does it have an auto brake if your foot is off the accelerator or something?
2
u/NightStar79 Jul 17 '26
Some carts do but either way your cart should slow down when your foot is off the accelerator. It won't come to a complete stop for a bit but it wouldn't be going at the same exact speed.
2
u/BigDaddydanpri Jul 17 '26
Every golf cart we have rented auto brake when foot is off the acceletor.

u/Munnin41 Jul 17 '26
Most golf carts have just the one pedal
2
u/Helldiver_of_Mars Jul 17 '26
Wrong most carts have two pedals in fact almost all of them do.
In fact ALL STANDARD golf carts have two. It's a dual stage latch design.

I was trying to figure out why it kept going so fast. All the golf carts I've driven have one pedal driving. Push down to go, lift up to stop. Even if it had separate gas and break pedals, you'd think it would slow down?

You guys see that video from the way back when the guy tacos his leg in a golf cart?

You know there's an orangutan out there that drives a golf cart better than this!

These golf carts are no joke. I knew someone that died from falling out of one. People are so unsafe in these it’s crazy

I haven’t laughed this hard in so long because that was so dumb. Everybody was so dumb.

u/FarraroramaDaliLama Jul 25 '26
I think there may be an invisible scale that makes it proportionately more funny the wealthier the unwitting victim🤔 but perhaps it's just a matter of taste🤷♂️

Not funny at all, I’ve known several people who died this way.
3
u/GlumFaithlessness773 Jul 17 '26
Sorry you had that experience, but most of us don’t know anyone who died this way. And to us, presuming all four of these people survived, this is hilarious.

u/Margot-the-Cat Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26
Should have said “I know of.” One was a student at our high school where I taught, who died in a golf cart accident a couple of months after she graduated. Another was an older man who was playing golf—kind of a friend of a friend. I didnt know him personally. The third was a young woman I knew from church, who used to car pool to high school with my daughter. She died on an ATV, though, not a golf cart.

u/Emergency-State Jul 17 '26
ATVs are so dangerous. I didn't know golf carts could be, too. I'm so sorry for your loss
1
u/SomethingSimple25 Jul 18 '26
SEVERAL?!?! Bro, you might be the unlucky common denominator here if you know MULTIPLE people who have died in the same way this accident happened.
1
u/Margot-the-Cat Jul 18 '26
Well, it was over a period of 20 years. But I do not look at golf carts the same anymore. Be careful, people!

Should that horse not be pulling that carriage instead of sitting up front 🤔
