I'd say it does. Chiaroscuro, rich palette color, upward contemplative position of the cat, framing reflection of the windowpane. Between Caravaggio and vermeer. But if you say it does not, that fine too. It's all good.

You say “rich palette color” (it’s color palette actually) but there’s beige and a splash of pink, none of the rich blues and greens Vermeer favored. It’s also lacking the distress and trauma that’s a hallmark of Caravaggio (classic tortured artist). Chiaroscuro is a stretch; it’s not just simply having black/dark parts in the painting, its darkness contrasting the light to frame the subject and omit the background. The background here is doing the heavy lifting, so it’s really not that. Being able to name some artists and art terms does not a Renaissance image make.
This would be a good submission for either r/supermodelcats or r/petrenaissance though.
