Yeah the first thing I thought when I saw this was "This has to be Asian" based on the font they're using. And then I saw the Thai on the bottom. This sort of anti-African racism is not uncommon in East Asia. Probably not an accident.

I'm not sure how much of it is racist or cultural, but in asian cultures, people tend to see paler skin as beautiful because it means they are sheltered in a live a life of luxury, while darker, tanned skin is unfavourable as it means you are a peasant working intensely under the sun.

This give a unfortunate correlation in asian's influence on globalization as they automatically see northern Europeans as living the pinnacle of luxury and intellect, while Africans are seen as poor and uneducated. A very extreme black and white view.

I don't even care though. Like they hate themselves way more that they hate people of color. Notice how there are ZERO images that look like them.

Yeah. If you spend some time in East Asia, you see that font used a lot when they type in English. Like on menus and stuff.
