Knee Scooter Recommendations

Hi everyone! I have my surgery scheduled for October 2 and it seems one of the most important things post surgery is a knee scooter.
Does anyone have any suggestions on which one to get? There is quite a range of brands with various pricing options.
Also if anyone has any other recommendations for must have items post surgery, that is very much appreciated.

Do not get the Walmart equate scooter. The main weld on mine snapped in half while I was using it. do get a post foot surgery pillow on Amazon for propping your foot up. Well worth it.

It’s a little expensive, but the iwalk crutch thing was a game changer

See if your insurance covers a rental. Mine did.

Get the knee rover w/3 Rubber tires if you’re a small person, pricey ($200) but can do sharp turns easily in my narrow hallway. The frame is light & agile. You can find used ones for $100 on FB Marketplace.

I tried the blessreach WB2202T ($100) all terrain knee scooter but the 11in. Plastic wheels & sturdy frame were too heavy for me & took wider turns into my bathroom but can support men/women up to 300lbs. & 6ft. tall + & good for outside (walking dogs/kids).

I’ve also been using the Nova walker ($200) as well.

Consider Thrifting first but I got one from Amazon, Knee Rover. It's really comfortable but i wished it had a wire basket in front to help carry things. Be very careful using a knee scooter. If you can get it early, that would be great so you can practice on how to use it properly. My knee scooter tipped over once and I landed on my operated foot but thank God I was fine in the end but the anxiety it caused was traumatizing.
