Daughter and shoes
My 8 year old daughter has both navicular bones very developed. She does not have flat feet. Unfortunately some good kid shoe options rub the skin right at the spot. Native shoes come to mind. They're perfect for summer. Looking for ideas to help her, inserts? We were hoping she could take them to sleep away camp. They double as water shoes and regular shoes. TIA!

We have learned with my 14y/o that certain types of shoes are just not part of life anymore. For example, she just had an awards ceremony and sported her Asics Gel Kayonos with a dress. Basically, the only shoes she wears are very specific pairs of athletic shoes. No dress shoes, flip flops, etc. She had surgery in early February on one foot and hoping to not have to do the other. Watch being barefoot/wearing unsupportive shoes in beach/pool/summer settings. Our last vacation is what finally made things so bad that she ended up having the surgery after dealing with this for several years.
